IEP Aide - Baltimore City Public Schools SY 26/27

The primary role of Special Edu/ IEP Aide is to provide support to students in Baltimore City. This will be a M-F school based fulltime hours schedule. You will work closely with special education teachers and other school staff to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities. Key Responsibilities: • Assist students with academic tasks as outlined in their IEPs • Support classroom teachers in implementing accommodations and modifications • Help maintain a safe and structured learning environment • Document student progress and behavior • Participate in IEP meetings as needed • Provide one-on-one or small group support Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Experience working with students with special needs preferred • Ability to pass a background check • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Patience, flexibility, and a genuine desire to help students succeed
